This museum attempts to document naval enterprises stretching far back into history. They have a great collection of boats ranging from only years old to vessels originating well-over 100 years ago. The Fallbrook Historical Society Museum is located in a turn-of-the-century farmhouse that was once owned by a Civil War soldier who later won the Congressional Medal of Honor. The museum features exhibits on the area's pioneers, including the Luiseno Indians, the Spanish soldiers and settlers, the Mexican ranchers and the American homesteaders. Fallbrook's rail history and agriculture are also featured. The museum is open Sunday and Thursday from 1pm to 4pm or by appointment.
